Okay, no, I'm not actually going to answer or debate this question. The answer SHOULDN'T EVEN MATTER.
You know why His appearance wasn't noted any place in Scripture? Because what He looked like didn't matter then, and it shouldn't matter now. Like, ever.
Jesus came to be the perfect sacrifice for each man. Not to be a debate piece so one group could declare ethnic superiority over another. As a matter of fact, I recall men getting called out for that very behavior. Um, hello? Was anyone who debates this matter even READING the Bible?!?
It's as simple as that. Nothing more or less. It doesn't matter what color Christ's skin was. He was the Son of God. We don't know what God looks like, do we? And He created every single one of us. If we're to really dig down deep, no Christian should ever take this debate seriously, and should quickly move off of the subject if any non-Christian brings it up.
When someone starts speaking to me about it, my immediate answer is, "Why should it matter? Christ loves everyone, and the hue of His skin doesn't make His sacrifice any less significant in the history of man!"
I mean, seriously. The SON OF GOD sacrificed Himself, and endured the pain of HAVING GOD FORSAKE AND TURN HIS FACE AWAY FROM HIS ONLY SON as He died! I'm pretty certain if Jesus were here today, He would express His heartbreak that the very people who supposedly confess Him with their mouths in the next breath act like a bunch of worldly men and women.
It's really... repulsive...
